Spurgeon Student Scholarship

The Spurgeon Center offers a limited number of scholarships to students demonstrating exeptional promise in the practice of ministry. Spurgeon Student Scholars (recipients of the award) work closely with the Curator of the Spurgeon Library.

 

* Students in residential Master of Divinity programs are priority recipients. (Please note that work associated with the scholarship is to be carried out in the Spurgeon Library.)

* The scholarship award is $500 per semester.

* Five scholarships are awarded each semester.

 

Spurgeon Student Scholar responsibilities:

 

* One semester, although students may reapply.

* Serve 5 hours per week with Spurgeon Curator and/or the Library, though this may change due to events and schedules.

* Represent Midwestern and the Spurgeon Library as a Student Scholar.
